busy, busy, busy today and i feel great! we're taking J and C out to dinner tonight, then to some show. don't ask. i don't know. the L O made all the decisions. i just go along.
right after i posted that last entry i split.
McD. McMuffin. couldn't brave the McBurrito. there was a skinny guy, recent college grad there i guess. when i say skinny, i mean 28" waist. tops. all i could think was (literally) painfully pointy hip bones. been there. done that. got the broken heart. i say 'recent grad' because he was wearing a tie and could only sport for jewelry a chunky school ring. he cruised me when i sat, i cruised back momentarily, then cruised my McHashbrowns. he might have been intrigued because i was in my redneck finest. workboots, jeans, t-shirt with open quilted plaid flannel shirt, 3 days unshaven, ball cap. after he left i became the youngest in the joint. geezer club. there was some loud skanky blue hair at a four-top next to me that wouldn't shut up and wouldn't let any of the others speak. when i sat down she was on some apple cobbler that was great and there was ice cream and she's never had the two together before. *seth knits brows* after cruising she was on some guy who'd altered his will in favor of his mistress (her word) and she was just killed in a car accident. i had to get out of there.
so i walked to tanning.
unfortunately, it wasn't like that. if it were, that twink in the front would have been given the bum's rush. i want that tasty one lying behind. oh well.
the adult toy store i'd never been to. i went in, was greeted by a young gay man. i only knew he was gay because the only other car in the lot had a rainbow thingy. my gaydar confirmed it. do-able, and could have had a quicky, but somehow i felt pressed for time, so i got my lube and left.
then Lowe's was closed. actually, it hadn't opened yet. i used to go to Home Depot 10 miles away. this new store is only 5. they open friday. so i went to my local feed and seed, got manure, potash, grass seed, and a new rotary spreader. the guy there, who for some reason likes me, suggested i get about 25# of rice to mix with the seed. he said it helps spreading, fertilizes, and kills ants. huh? well, it seems that ants eat the rice, drink, the rice expands and they 'splode. wow. so i went and got rice.
back home i wanted to level some stumps to ground level. i'd gotten a new chain for my saw for this purpose, but only today got around to changing the chain. i'd never changed it before. it took me forever! then another forever to get it started after its long winter slumber. it did nothing. i had put the chain on backwards! good move, seth! re-done, it took all of 45 seconds to level the stumps.
then fix the lawnmower. can't find the part. merde.
i raked a lot of leaves and such.
i seeded the yard twice. my yard is half an acre.
i brushed the dogs.
i prepped a flower bed for the planting of caladiums, which i ordered today. 100 of the fuckers. they're gorgeous!
i prepped another bed and re-planted around 100 canna lilly bulbs.
JWB wandered in and out of my mind, but more out than in.
it felt good to be in my shop again. it's not heated. so wintertime i don't go out much. last winter i did, but it was a mild winter and JWB was with me most of the time. making out can warm you up like nothing else!
so, all things considered, i think i deserve a treat.
