The best and easiest time to kick someone in the teeth/gut/nads is when they're already down. Last night I got kicked good and hard.
Actually, I was already down for that first one. I'd run out of one of my new meds and kept forgetting to call to renew the script. So I was easy pickings for flooring by that unwitting birdie Wednesday night, was too devastated to go in yesterday, screwed up the courage to go in today, even though last night I got sucker punched in a way that it takes a background story to describe. And yes, sadly, it involves JWB.
If I felt demoralized before, that was nothing.
I can't see how rehearsing the matter would help me at the moment. The whole fucking thing has virtually happened all over again.
